Venus and Earth condensed out of the same nebula at about the same time. Both are similar in size, mass, density, and volume. Therefore, astronomers called Venus the 'Sister of the Earth'. However, during the last few years, they found that the two planets have more differences than similarities. The clouds of Venus are composed of sulphuric acid droplets. It has hardly any water vapour.
There are no oceans on Venus, and it has a very heavy atmosphere composed mainly of corbon dioxide. The atmospheric pressure of Venus at the surface is 92 times that of the Earth's at sea level. Venus is too hot for humans. Its surface temperature is about 465*C.
