In view of the highly complex interactions that take place in the atmosphere, today's weather forecasts are really remarkably accurate. Satellite pictures and data from a network of weather stations, coupled with information dream from PST experience and sophisticated computer simulations, make reliable forecasts about the coming three to five days possible. Forecasters are usually right about what and where, less so about when and how much. The further forecasters look into the future, the less precise their forecasts will be, since it is possible to see basic weather trends.
